Job summary

The New Foreign Assistance in Washington, D.C. is seeking a Policy Associate to support our policy agenda, draft papers, and turn leads into program proposals for the State Department and Congress.

You will work closely with the Executive Director, Chief of Staff, and Director of Programs, learn quickly, and help build bipartisan coalitions while staying true to conservative reform principles.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize information into briefs and memos.
• Experience collaborating with government or policy stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support policy agenda and develop flagship initiatives.
• Draft bills and prepare materials for Congress.
• Coordinate with Executive Director, Chief of Staff, and Director of Programs.
• Represent the organization in coalitions and briefings.
