Job summary

Nava United seeks a Policy Strategist to translate policy into actionable decisions for an integrated eligibility platform, collaborating with product, design, and engineering to ensure compliance and effective user experiences.

You will research Medicaid policy, map regulatory constraints, and develop recommendations while engaging external partners and advocating for improved government services.

Qualifications

• Experience in policy analysis or graduate-level study focused on policy.
• Experience researching and interpreting policy using statutes, regulations, or agency guidance and applying that analysis to programs or implementations.
• Ability to document research processes, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Identify regulatory constraints, risks, and ambiguities and propose solutions balancing compliance and user experience.
• Create artifacts (policy briefs, decision frameworks, process flows) to support decisions.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation.
