Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an experienced policy issuance support professional to assist underwriters with endorsements, policy servicing, and compliance across CRC products. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to review requests, and maintain accurate records.

The successful candidate will collaborate with underwriters, maintain licensing, and ensure timely processing of policies while upholding regulatory standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate insurance experience.
  • Three years of wholesale insurance experience or its equivalent.
  • Current state specific license.
  • Understand and analyze essential components of insurance policies.
  • Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.
  • Ability to use company automation.
  • Develop, foster, and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Underwriter with meeting or exceeding production goals.
  • Review and process policy servicing requests including endorsements and certificates.
  • Underwrite CRC products and services to clients.
  • Audit, correct, and verify information prior to policy issuance.
  • Issue policies according to company guidelines.
  • Analyze change requests and endorsements.
  • Monitor accounts for policy compliance.
  • Approve and disapprove endorsements within binding authority.
  • Adhere to compliance documentation standards.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through timely service.
  • Assist manager with workflow modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Proof policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
  • Maintain suspense system and follow-up for documents and inspections.
  • Conduct ratings to ensure accuracy.
  • Review inspection reports and act as directed by leadership.
  • Cancel and reinstate policies per terms and regulations.
  • Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Administer timely and accurate policy issuance process that is consistent with compliance and performance standards. Support underwriter with all endorsement requests to ensure compliance with carrier and company guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Assist Underwriter with meeting or exceeding production goals as assigned by CRC.
  2. Review and process policy servicing requests including but not limited to endorsement, audits, company requests and certificates.
  3. Underwrite CRC products and services to clients.
  4. Audit, correct, and verify all necessary information prior to policy issuance.
  5. Issue policies according to company guidelines.
  6. Analyze change requests, general service inquiries and endorsements.
  7. Monitor accounts to ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
  8. Approve and disapprove endorsements within CRC’s binding authority.
  9. Adhere to jurisdictional compliance documentation standards and ensure all documentation is completed.
  10. Apply information from the policy services manager to ensure necessary changes for compliance purposes.
  11. Develop and Maintain client, carrier and agent relationships through timely, accurate service.
  12. Assist manager with modifications to workflow to increase efficiency and accuracy of the policy services department.
  13. Proof policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc. and make corrections as appropriate.
  14. Maintain suspense system and follow-up for receipt of policies, endorsement information, inspections, correspondence, claims, etc. from outside sources.
  15. Conduct ratings as necessary to ensure policy information is accurate.
  16. Review Inspection reports and compare to the conditions that were represented at the time of binding and take appropriate or needed actions as directed by your team leader or the underwriting manager.
  17. Cancel and reinstate policies based on outlined terms, company policy and statutory regulations.
  18. Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
