Job summary

Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Policy Service Technician to support the underwriting team in policy processing. This role is essential for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in rating and issuing policies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

The position requires a high school diploma, with preference for college coursework in relevant fields. A Property & Casualty license is preferred. Candidates should have at least 12 months of experience in commercial lines rating or equivalent experience with an insurance carrier.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months of commercial lines rating experience or equivalent experience with an insurance carrier.
• Property & Casualty license preferred or obtain one within six (6) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize multiple systems to accurately rate and issue new and renewal business.
• Complete non-renewals based on Underwriter instructions.
• Organize and maintain policy-related information within the ImageRight system.
• Serve as backup support to other Policy Service Technicians.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to enhance service delivery.
• Assist with administrative tasks to support underwriting and service teams.
