Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking a Research Specialist I, II, or Senior Research Specialist to join the Public Policy Center-1525. You will work with dynamic teams on public policy projects, conduct and facilitate research, coordinate projects and stakeholder involvement, and design surveys to collect and analyze data.

Strong writing and verbal skills are essential as you prepare reports and present findings that inform state, local, and federal policy.

Qualifications

• Experience researching and presenting policy reports.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, planning and writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively with national, state, and local policymakers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of and experience with community and statewide public policy issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduce research and coordinate projects and stakeholder involvement processes.
• Design survey instruments, collect and analyze data, assist with writing reports, and present findings that inform policy.
• Some travel may be required.
• All applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
