Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln seeks a Research Specialist I or II to work on public policy projects. You will conduct and facilitate research, coordinate projects and stakeholder involvement, design surveys, collect and analyze data, and assist with writing reports to inform state, local, and federal policy.

Some travel may be required. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (I) or bachelor’s plus two years (II) and strong writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills for collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant policy research experience or equivalent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with policymakers and stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities
