Job summary

ICANN is seeking a Research Manager to support informed policy development across the global community. The role coordinates policy research and data projects, applying strong design, data analysis, and project management to yield actionable insights.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage consultants, design surveys, and draft reports, briefing executive leadership and stakeholders worldwide. A Master’s or equivalent experience in policy/research is preferred, with 6+ years in related

Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred; or Bachelor's with 5–7 years of progressively responsible research experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive professional experience in a research, policy, academic, or related environment.
  • Experience within an international organization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple policy research and data projects for ICANN's Global Domains and Strategy function.
  • Design surveys, interview guides, focus groups, and measurement frameworks.
  • Manage all phases of projects: planning, execution, risk, and reporting.
  • Draft, review, and edit research reports, analyses, and briefings.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship on project methodologies and processes.
