Job summary

Taxpayers Protection Alliance Foundation is seeking a highly motivated part-time intern to join our policy team in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on drafting economic and regulatory analysis and supporting policy papers and op-eds for a range of issues including tax reform and regulation.

Ideal candidates should have strong writing skills and an interest in free-market economics and limited government. This is a paid, part-time, in-person internship with opportunities to engage with partners

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have strong writing skills.
• Previous experience in policy research is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft original economic and regulatory analysis, to be published under your name;
• Conduct research to assist the policy team in drafting policy papers, op-eds, blogs, press releases, etc on a wide range of issue areas including tax reform, tech policy, healthcare, antitrust, regulation, and more;
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, such as congressional votes and committee hearings;
• Attend various events in Washington, D.C., to promote TPAF’s interests.
