Job summary

Duke University School of Medicine seeks a Policy Analyst, Assistant (Tier I) to support policy research, writing, and analysis within the Office of the Chancellor Emeritus for Health Affairs. You will draft summary documents, perform literature reviews, and contribute to policy briefs, white papers, blog posts, and public reports.

Collaborating with senior researchers, you will help coordinate events, manage logistics, and maintain stakeholder relationships to advance evidence-based policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the position.
• For Policy Analyst, Assistant (Tier I), no experience required beyond education/training.
• Skills requirements will be evaluated based on the needs of the department and position responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support/performs projects with complex activities in research, writing, and analysis of quantitative and/or qualitative data within policy projects.
• Draft summary documents and contribute/extensive writing to policy briefs, white papers, blog posts, and public reports.
• Support events and convening, coordinating content development and logistics management.
• Maintain liaison with project participants, faculty, and other relevant parties to support deliverables.
• Coordinate project activities and logistics with stakeholders, industry representatives, and policy professionals.
• Assist in event planning and preparation and organize convening activities and events.
