Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze federal health policy, legislative, and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable insights.
• Draft and edit policy statements, public comments, letters, reports, briefing materials, and other policy communications.
• Prepare policy research and analysis for organizational leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Represent the organization at congressional and executive branch briefings and meetings.
• Serve as a liaison to national coalitions, alliances, and strategic partners.
• Coordinate policy initiatives with committees, subject matter experts, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Help manage timely organizational responses to emerging policy developments.
• Track lobbying activities and support related compliance and reporting.
• Manage multiple policy projects and cross-functional workflows simultaneously.

The Choice is partnering with a highly respected national healthcare association to hire a Policy Manager to join its Washington, DC team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a policy professional with approximately 3-5 years of experience who is interested in taking on a substantive role focused on federal health policy research, analysis, writing, and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting directly to the Chief Policy Officer, the Policy Manager will help advance the organization’s health policy priorities through policy research and analysis, development of written policy materials, engagement with policymakers and external partners, and coordination with internal committees and subject matter experts.

Key responsibilities include:
