Job summary
Aquent seeks an experienced policy professional to join a leading global technology company on a roughly 12‑month, onsite assignment with frequent travel to Menlo Park, NY, or Washington DC. This role focuses on policy around AI, wearables, and virtual reality, shaping the future through responsible innovation.
You will design policy experiences, lead demonstrations, and run campaigns, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Legal, and global policy teams to inform policymakers and build
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
- 5+ years of policy or legal experience focusing on AI/advanced technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead demonstrations that show AI, wearables, VR to policy audiences.
- Design and run policy experiences and events for stakeholders.
- Develop outreach programs and campaigns promoting AI's value.
- Engage policymakers, trade associations, industry partners and nonprofits.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, Partnerships and global policy teams.
- Build coalitions with external organizations to advance policy objectives.
- Project manage policy programs including new AI products.
- Manage targeted advocacy campaigns or support larger campaigns.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to champion AI innovation.
