The Washington DC office of Squire Patton Boggs invites applications for the Winter/Spring Semester Public Policy Intern position for 2027. This paid, in-person internship runs January 11 to May 14 and provides exposure to government affairs and policy work.

Responsibilities include monitoring legislation, researching policy topics, preparing policy analyses and fact sheets, attending hearings, and supporting the Public Policy practice groups.

Competenze

• Current undergraduate junior or senior.
• Able to commit to part-time 23-25 hours per week.
• Writing-intensive internship with strong communication skills.
• Previous government-related internship preferred.

Mansioni

• Monitor and analyze pending legislation and public policy initiatives.
• Conduct research and develop policy fact sheets; track federal legislation.
• Attend hearings, meetings and briefings via webinar or telephone.
• Provide policy analysis, writing and editing reports for various topics.
• Provide additional administrative support as assigned.
