Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 30 credits in planning, GIS, environmental studies, or related fields.
• Planner levels: 9 requires no specific experience; 10 requires 1 year in planning/mapping; 11 requires 2 years incl. Planner 10.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and evaluate state and federal policy proposals for MDOT decision makers.
• Provide GIS support and data processing for transportation planning; create written materials and presentations.
• Support ISU initiatives with databases, spreadsheets, and customer-related tasks.
