Job summary

Empire Center for Public Policy in Albany, NY, is seeking a communications intern to support the president and policy experts. The role can be performed in person at our Albany office or remotely, and may be part-time or full-time.

You will create materials, grow audiences via email and social channels, help manage empirecenter.org and seethroughny.net, execute monthly newsletters and press releases, and provide general marketing support.

Qualifications

• Creating communications and marketing materials (for digital as well as print distribution);
• Helping grow audiences (i.e. email and social media);
• Assisting with management of Empire Center’s websites, including empirecenter.org and seethroughny.net;
• Assisting with executing email strategy, including a monthly newsletter, donor communications and press releases; and
• General support for all marketing and communications efforts.
