Job summary

NRDC seeks an undergraduate intern for the Center for Campaigns & Organizing to support the E2 program. The role is based in San Francisco with an onsite requirement of three days per week and a 10-week, 35-hour-per-week schedule.

You will help research, write policy briefs, and develop materials for California Advocacy Day, while helping recruit diverse business voices and expand engagement in multiple regions. This summer program offers a $7,000 stipend.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and May 2027 graduates are eligible
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project management and/or problem solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities

• Support the E2 team to develop, support, and execute projects that advance clean economy initiatives and state/federal policies
• Research and write policy briefs and other communications for California Advocacy Day
• Develop materials for Advocacy Day and support business voices recruitment and events
• Help expand and amplify diverse business voices within E2 chapters and targeted regions
