Job summary

The Insurance Company in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Insurance (Business) Analyst to align technology solutions with business needs across underwriting, finance, sales, and IT. The analyst will serve as the primary administrator for the Policy Administration System (Origami Risk) and support no-code/low-code configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in business analysis or related role.
• Proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
• Familiarity with process automation tools and workflow optimizations; Copilot AI experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and point of contact for the Policy Administration System (Origami Risk).
• Glean understanding of business logic and processes related to Policy Administration System and integrated workflows.
• Assist users with no-code or low-code configuration and engage SaaS vendor when beyond self-service is needed.
• Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades and integrations with assistance from the IT team.
• Collaborate with internal business users and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Implement automation tools (including AI) to enhance staff productivity and reduce manual tasks.
• Develop and deliver ad-hoc reports for business leaders as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
