Bright Harbor Healthcare in Bayville, NJ seeks a Police Social Work Case Manager to connect residents with unmet mental health, substance use, or social needs through coordinated social work interventions. You will report to Ocean County agencies and manage referrals with a team of law enforcement partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, experience with substance abuse, and strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Experience working with Substance Abuse.
• Experience and understanding of Law Enforcement.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to assigned Ocean County Police Departments throughout the week.
• Accept referrals from participating municipal law enforcement agencies and triage needs.
• Provide needs assessment, linkage and brief case management to referrals.
• Participate and assist in data collection and statistical analysis
• Work as part of team
• Conduct community outreaches independently and as part of team
• Maintain information/data spreadsheets
• Coordinate and consult with law enforcement officers and law enforcement command staff
• Complete documentation as required and communicate with other program staff
• Participate in law enforcement meetings and education
• Co-response in community alongside officer
