Qualifications

Police Social Work Case Manager - Arrive Together

Arrive Together partners with Law Enforcement to identify community residents with unmet mental health, substance use, or social service needs, aiming to reduce police contacts through social work intervention.

Position Details
  • Title: Case Manager
  • Type: Full Time; 35 hours weekly; weekend availability as needed
  • Benefits Eligible: Yes
  • Location: Northern Ocean County, NJ
  • Department: Arrive Together
  • Salary: $41,000 - $46,000
Responsibilities
  • Report to assigned Ocean County Police Departments throughout the week
  • Accept referrals from participating municipal law enforcement agencies and triage needs
  • Provide needs assessment, linkage, and brief case management to referrals
  • Participate in data collection and statistical analysis
  • Work as part of a team and conduct community outreach independently
  • Maintain information/data spreadsheets
  • Coordinate and consult with law enforcement officers and command staff
  • Complete documentation and communicate with program staff
  • Participate in law enforcement meetings and education
  • Co-respond in community alongside officers
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field
  • Experience working with Substance Abuse
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Understanding of Law Enforcement
  • Bilingual preferred
