Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking a Police Security Guard 1 to control admittance to Metro facilities, patrol property, and ensure public safety. The role includes operating security equipment, logging visitors, and responding to incidents.
The position requires a valid driver’s license, a 21+ age minimum, and completion of a 40-hour firearms training prior to probation. 24/7 operations with shift, overtime, and holiday work are expected.
The Police Security Guard 1 controls admittance of persons or vehicles to the Metro Nashville Police Department facilities. Patrols assigned areas to protect public property, buildings, related facilities, visitors and employees.
The Metro Nashville Police Department is a 24/7/365 operation. Must be willing and able to work any shift, work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
