Auburn Police Department is seeking a Police Recruit who will attend and successfully complete the Alabama Peace Officers Standards certified basic police academy. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Sergeant-Training and serves in the Police Department.

Essential duties include attending the academy, learning patrol procedures, report writing, officer safety, and use-of-force standards, and applying constitutional law.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet POST requirements.
• Valid driver’s license upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Attend and complete Alabama POST certified academy.
• Learn patrol procedures, report writing, officer safety, and use-of-force standards.
• Follow department rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment.
• Perform special duty assignments and other related duties.
