The City of Ankeny is accepting applications for a part-time Police Records Clerk position with the Ankeny Police Department. This role involves performing routine clerical tasks under supervision to support the Police Department Support Services division, ensuring accurate record-keeping for various programs.
Starting salary range is $25.50 - $29.52 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include prorated vacation, sick leave, personal time, holidays, the EAP program, and IPERS retirement system. Pre-employment requirements include drug screening, psychological evaluation, and background check.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday - Thursday (20 hours/week)

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, knowledge of office procedures and Microsoft Office, accurate record-keeping skills, and effective interpersonal skills. Ability to obtain Iowa/NCIC certification within six months and maintain confidentiality.
