Job summary

University of Pittsburgh Johnstown Campus Police is seeking a Police Officer to ensure public safety across campus properties, perform vehicular and foot patrols, enforce laws, investigate crimes, and prepare police reports. The role includes testifying in court and assisting other law enforcement agencies as required.

Police Officer duties include: vehicular and foot patrol of University property; enforcement of criminal and traffic laws; protection of persons and property; investigation of crimes; completion of police reports; testimony in court; and assistance to other law enforcement agencies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other related field from an accredited college or University and must have obtained Pennsylvania Act 120 certification prior to appointment; possess a valid PA driver's license as well as a safe driving record.

Essential Functions

Physical Effort
