City and County of Broomfield in Colorado is recruiting Police Officer Recruits to attend a sponsored P.O.S.T.-certified Police Academy beginning April 2027. The entry-level Police Officer Trainee will receive full compensation and benefits while training, with promotion to sworn Officer after certification.

The program offers a complete benefits package, retirement plan enrollment, paid time off, holidays, and wellness options, culminating in a sworn position upon academy completion.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Some college credit preferred.
• No prior experience required; open to entry level.
• Prior military experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Engage in training to become a sworn Police Officer upon graduation.
• Prepare and write clear police reports during academy and field training.
