Qualifications

• No felonies or class A misdemeanors.
• No class B misdemeanors in the last 10 years.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physically/medically able to perform police duties.

Responsibilities

• Attend a 32-week Basic Training Course at the Dallas Police Academy.
• Complete TCOLE licensing and Dallas-specific courses after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
