Qualifications

• Must complete POS T Basic Police Officer Training Academy.
• Possession of a United States high school diploma or GED.
• California Driver’s License required.
• United States citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Position begins as Police Officer Trainee; upon academy completion, promoted to Police Officer.
• Attend POS T approved academy and complete probationary period after promotion.
• Perform duties under training with emphasis on community protection and public service.
• Work in outdoor environments and adhere to department rules and procedures.
