Minimum Requirements

• U.S. citizen
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 19 years old
• No felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement
• No dishonorable discharge from armed forces

• Valid Florida Driver’s License before employment
• Ability to complete Police Academy Training and obtain FDLE certification
• Pass Physical Abilities Test (PAA): timed mile run, push-ups, sit-ups, 300m run
