Qualifications

  • United States citizen.
  • Must hold TCOLE peace officer license OR currently enrolled in a basic peace officer course.
  • 21 years old and TCOLE certified OR 20 years old if currently enrolled in a basic peace officer course.
  • Ability to successfully pass tests including physical, written, oral review, polygraph, psychological screening, functional capacity test and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the State of Texas.
  • Acceptable driving record.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A POLICE OFFICER
