Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas by car, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot to preserve life and property and enforce laws and ordinances.
• Respond to calls for service, conduct initial and follow-up investigations, collect evidence, interview victims and witnesses.
• Prepare and serve warrants, apprehend offenders, and exercise discretion in traffic and crowd control at emergencies.
• Direct traffic at events and emergencies; maintain public relations and liaise with other agencies as needed.
• Perform administrative duties, maintain records, calibrate equipment, and testify in court or hearings as required.
