Brooklyn Park Police Department - Lateral Police Officer

Brooklyn Park Police Department is currently seeking lateral officers. The academy and field training process will be condensed based upon your prior law enforcement experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Preserve law and order.
2. Protect life and property.
3. Enforce laws and ordinances.
4. Create problem-solving relationships with citizens, utilizing community-oriented policing philosophy.

We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus to qualified candidates who have been employed as a full-time police officer within the last 12 months. $2,500 will be paid with your first paycheck, and $2,500 upon successful completion of field training.
