Chino Police Department - Police Officer

The Chino Police Department is seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team of well-trained professionals committed to providing quality service to the community. Under general supervision, patrols assigned areas to prevent crime and enforce laws. The essential functions include making presentations, interacting with colleagues, and maintaining regular attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas, respond to calls, enforce laws, and conduct investigations.
• Interact with the public, make arrests, and cooperate with other law enforcement agencies.
• Coordinate and conduct detailed investigations of crimes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and completion of a P.O.S.T. certified basic academy.
• Licenses/Certificates: Possess a P.O.S.T. Basic Certificate.
• Experience: One year of full-time experience as a Police Officer in a California public agency (preferred).

Knowledge of modern law enforcement practices, communication skills, and ability to handle emergency situations is required. Must meet physical requirements and possess a valid California Driver’s License.
