The City of Orange Police Department is looking for dedicated individuals to join as Police Officers. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to law enforcement, completing physical tests and interviews as part of the application process. Competitive salary ranges from $7,586 to $10,117 monthly, plus a $10,000 hiring incentive and various benefits.
Testing Date: Saturday morning, July 12, 2025
Candidates who pass the application screening will be invited to take the physical ability test on this date. Those who pass will be interviewed on the same day.

The salary ranges from $7,586 to $10,117 per month, plus benefits and incentives. Retirement benefits are provided through CalPERS or other California retirement systems, with specifics depending on hire date and membership status.
Additional pay incentives are available for specialized assignments, education, language skills, and seniority, among others.

Responsibilities include enforcing laws, patrolling, investigating crimes, directing traffic, issuing citations, testifying in court, collecting evidence, making arrests, and community engagement.
