• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 60 college credits.
• Requires Wisconsin Police Officer certification and Police Academy training.
• Certification/training in handgun, shotgun, CPR, OC spray, and impact weapon is required.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property through enforcement of statutes and ordinances.
• Patrol the City for illegal and dangerous activity and monitor traffic.
• Respond to traffic collisions and assist emergency personnel.
• Prepare incident and accident reports and testify in court as required.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and current laws.
