The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a Police Officer to join our Police Department in Snowmass Village, CO. This is an in-person role requiring integrity, community focus, and the ability to work long or irregular hours.

The ideal candidate will hold a Colorado driver’s license, interpret laws and policies, communicate effectively with the public, and commit to extensive training. Eligible benefits include full medical/dental/vision coverage, paid leave, ski pass, recreation center

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and understand departmental rules, policies, instructions, laws, regulations, and police literature, together with an aptitude for law enforcement work.
• Ability to analyze situations and adopt a quick, effective, and reasonable course of action giving due regard to hazards and circumstances.
• Ability to learn the use and care of automobile, firearms and less than lethal equipment.
• Willing to submit to extensive training.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, superiors, and the public.
