City of Beloit Police Officers are responsible for ensuring the constitutional rights of all residents. Police Officers enforce the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the ordinances of the City of Beloit. Primarily, officers focus on the prevention of criminal activity and disorder in City of Beloit neighborhoods while providing day-to-day police service and engagement with the community.
Starting Salary: $31.20 per hour
Alternative dates are NOT available. Candidates must be able to attend exercises on the dates below in order to continue in the recruitment process. Finalized locations will be clearly communicated to candidates.
September 28 or October 3, 2026: The City of Beloit will hold physical agility tests and written exams. Candidates may attend either date.
October 6, 2026: Successful candidates will be invited to attend the Assessment Center and Chief's Interview. Candidates must be available for the entire day. An alternative date is NOT available.
