Weston Police Department seeks qualified candidates for full-time police officer roles dedicated to protecting life and property within Weston, MO. Duties include patrolling, enforcing traffic laws, responding to incidents, and conducting investigations with a commitment to community safety.

Candidates should be able to pass background, physical, and drug tests, and hold Missouri POST certification or be enrolled in an approved academy.

Competenze

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to pass a physical exam and drug test
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws
• Willingness to work shifts, holidays, weekends and be on call 24/7
• Missouri P.O.S.T certification or currently enrolled in an approved academy
• Valid driver’s license

Mansioni

• Protect life and property and enforce laws in a designated area on an assigned shift
• Patrol assigned areas and enforce traffic regulations
• Investigate accidents and crime scenes
• Perform special assignments as needed
• Make arrests and exercise independent judgment in emergencies
