This position performs a wide range of police assignments to help ensure the safety of Savannah State University's students, faculty, staff and visitors and to protect University property. The incumbent performs active patrol, monitors all activities taking place on campus and provides emergency assistance. This position takes appropriate investigative actions to deter criminal activity as well as serves and maintains various constituencies of Savannah State University. The incumbent may be directed to perform job related tasks other than those specifically delineated in this description.
NOTE: In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not offer sponsorship for employment visas.
The proposed salary range is $18.68 to $20.17 per hour.
