Base pay range: $61,796.00/yr - $111,217.00/yr

Compensation Details

• $40,000 for current Maryland officers, eligible former Maryland officers, and applicants with Maryland-approved entry-level police training, with payments at the end of field training and during subsequent years.
• $30,000 for applicants with comparable training from other states or eligible former Maryland officers, with similar payment milestones.

The department includes various specialty units such as Criminal Investigation, Narcotics, K-9, SWAT, Crisis Negotiators, and School Resource Officers.
