The Berlin Police Department is looking to expand our School Security Team. We are currently looking to hire an additional School Resource Officer (SRO) / SLEO II to assist with keeping our students, staff and school facilities safe! There will also be opportunities at additional administrative tasks and duties. The rate of pay is $33.00 per hour, with 40 hour and fill-in/as needed opportunities available.

- Retired NJ PTC certified officer

- Retired in "good standing" with previous LE Agency

- Valid NJ PTC waiverable certification or currently employed

- Pass a background and all associated areas relating to a full background investigation.

- Meet all requirements according to the Police Training Commission and State of New Jersey relating to that of a Police Officer.
