Job summary

The Kendall Police Department is seeking qualified Police Dispatchers to support law enforcement by handling emergency and nonemergency calls and coordinating with officers in the field.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, fast and accurate typing, clear radio communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Training and background checks are standard; shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance.

• Relay updates about incidents and safety concerns.
• Coordinate with neighboring agencies and other emergency services.
