Job summary

Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking Police Dispatchers to support law enforcement by handling calls and coordinating with officers. This role involves accurate vehicle, location, and hazard reporting, plus daily radio and records-system duties.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be able to type accurately, and possess strong communication skills with knowledge of geography and security screening requirements. Daytime or rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or recognized equivalent is commonly required.
• Typing accurately, understanding spoken information, and clear radio communication are essential.
• Knowledge of jurisdictional geography and security screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance.
• Document incident locations, suspect descriptions, vehicle details, and reported hazards.
• Assign calls to available officers according to priority and procedures.
• Monitor officer status, radio traffic, and requests for assistance.
• Relay updates about changing incidents and safety concerns.
• Coordinate with neighboring agencies and other emergency services.
• Maintain clear incident records and safeguard restricted information.
