Job summary

The Fresno Police Department is recruiting for Police Cadet I, a training class offering exposure to a variety of law enforcement assignments. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old by the first step of the exam.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License at time of application.
• Must pass a polygraph or CVSA test and a thorough background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-emergency police services and traffic/parking control.
• Complete related paperwork and fingerprinting.
• Answer and evaluate calls for police services.
• May be assigned to any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
