The Village of Pinecrest Police Department is seeking candidates for the position of Police Cadet to support the community and participate in the academy sponsorship program.

A cadet must meet minimum qualifications including one of: 2-year degree or 60 college credits or 3 years of military service or a high school diploma; ability to obtain a Florida driver license; good eyesight; English fluency (Spanish a plus); and pass required exams and screenings.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum qualifications: associate degree or 60 college credits, or three years of military service, or a high school diploma.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Florida driver's license.
• Must have good eyesight and color perception; fluent in English (Spanish a plus).
• Must be able to pass required examinations and screenings.
