Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. is hiring a Utility Pole Assessment Foreman to lead daily field operations and supervise crews in pole assessments, maintenance, and restoration, ensuring safety and quality. The Foreman will guide teammates, coordinate work, and represent Osmose with customers and utility partners.

This is a full-time, year-round role with overtime opportunities and travel. Per diem and comprehensive benefits support travel and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Previous leadership, crew lead, or foreman experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to motivate, train, and work effectively with field crews.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Able to perform physically demanding work lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily field operations and crew activities.
  • Perform utility pole assessments following safety procedures.
  • Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure efficient project completion.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members in safe practices.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry requirements.
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
  • Complete required documentation and project updates on time.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and safety performance.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, utility reps, and community members.
  • Support a positive team environment focused on safety and accountability.
