Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for full-time POLARIS LOUNGE PREP COOK positions in Chicago, IL. The role runs 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm with some weekends and holidays. Requires 6 months to 1 year of production kitchen experience; sanitation license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous 6 months to 1 year of production kitchen experience required.
• Sanitation license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards.
• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets.
• Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
