Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for a full-time Polaris Lounge Cook at United Lounges Polaris Lounge, United Airlines ORDCS Terminal, Chicago, IL 60666. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $24.50 per hour and requires 1–3 years of production kitchen experience with a sanitation license preferred.

Some weekends and holidays may be required. Daily shifts run 10:30 am to 7:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, and online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous 1 to 3 years of production kitchen experience required.
• Sanitation license preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperatures and presentation.
• Maintains clean kitchen and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as required; reports maintenance or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Performs HACCP-based safety and quality practices and maintains equipment as instructed.
