Job summary

Rail Events Productions is seeking a Child Wrangler for THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride in Whippany, NJ. The role focuses on coordinating pick-up/drop-off of child actors, supervising on stage, and managing essential PII documentation and permits for minors.

The position requires working with HR and Accounting to manage paperwork, scheduling, breaks, and safety for minors, while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. A strong interpersonal approach with parents is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a theatrical setting.
• Comfortable learning and enforcing minor entertainment labor laws based on state guidelines.
• Ability to work with parents or guardians of minors in an effective and personable manner.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for parents/guardians dropping off and picking up their child actor.
• Present onsite whenever child actors are called (rehearsal, tech, performances).
• Work with HR staff to ensure all entertainment labor laws are followed daily and proper postings are present.
• Supervise all child actors on site and guide them throughout their show track.
• Serve as liaison between parents and stage management regarding scheduling.
