TriStar Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, seeks a Point of Care Laboratory Coordinator to supervise and administer Point-of-Care testing and QA programs under the direction of department admins and medical directors. You will implement new programs, monitor performance, collect data, develop corrective actions, and assist in staff training in Point-of-Care and Quality activities.

Qualifications

• 2 Year/Associate Degree, Science Post Graduate Degree, required
• 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, preferred
• State of Tennesseee Supervisor’s License, preferred
• State of TN Technologist License
• State of TN Technician License

Responsabilités

• Supervises and administers the facility Point-of-Care testing and department Quality Assurance programs under the direction of the department administrative and medical directors to meet patient care and regulatory agency requirements.
• Works with facility and department leaders to implement new programs monitor performance, collect and evaluate performance data, develop corrective action plans, and assist in the training and education of personnel regarding Point-ofCare and Quality activities.
• Performs technical duties within the department as required.
• Supports the department Director in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

What qualifications you will need:

Minimum Education

• X 2 Year/Associate Degree, Science Post Graduate Degree, required
• X 4 Year/Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, preferred

Licensure/Certification Licensure Level

• X State of Tennesseee Supervisor’s License, preferred
• X State of TN Technologist License State of TN Technician License
