Location: Work at Home position in United States
Pay: $1.25 - $1.40 per minute, depending on time of day and interpretation level as defined by LanguageLine Solutions.
We Offer:
The Pohnpeian Telephone Interpreter handles on-demand calls, interpreting conversations between Pohnpeian and English. The role involves breaking communication barriers across various industries such as healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel & hospitality, law enforcement, and emergency services.
The interpreter must process information quickly, recognize cultural nuances, maintain professionalism, and use appropriate terminology. Sessions may involve technical or sensitive subjects, requiring high accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
This is a verbal interpretation role; written translation is not involved, though translators and linguists are encouraged to apply. The position is remote, requiring a quiet, secure home environment.
