Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Pipeline As-Built Data Specialist for a hybrid role in downtown Houston. You will transform complex engineering drawings into accurate PODS records, validate data, and support regulatory compliance across North America.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of pipeline data validation, CAD drafting, and ESRI ArcGIS experience, plus strong Excel/Access or SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD Drafting, GIS, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of pipeline as-built data validation and related drafting or database maintenance experience.
• Direct experience with PODS or similar tabular databases (PODS/UPDM/APDM/ISAT).
• Ability to read complex drawings, redlines, survey documents, and technical specs.
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS to view and verify spatial alignments.
• Advanced Excel lookups, filtering, and use of Access or SQL for data manipulation.
• Strong attention to detail and independent work ethic.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsabilités

• Review, interpret, and validate source engineering records including redlines, alignment sheets, survey files, MTRs and hydrostatic reports.
• Enter linear pipeline asset attributes and historical records into PODS database structures.
• Run SQL consistency checks and audits to identify gaps and resolve data conflicts.
• Cross-reference CAD markups and GIS layers against database records for traceability.
• Collaborate with data leads, GIS analysts, and pipeline engineers to resolve documentation discrepancies.
