Our team is looking for a PodLead/Software Architect (Go+React) for one of our clients.

Our Client is one of the TOP-5 global management consulting firms, considered one of the most prestigious in the world. Hundreds of customers from Fortune-500, including the largest global financial institutions, top media companies, technology firms, and federal agencies rely on our Client’s proven platform and services.

Project: It’s a feature-rich, fast-performing web application utilizing multiple microservices to deliver summarized, clean data, aiming to minimize single points of failure. The platform features customized permissions, data export options (Excel, PowerPoint, PDF), and supports various screen sizes. It provides immediate access to financial, investor, operational, and employee data, along with value creation analyses and benchmarking for numerous companies. The system curates, standardizes, and cleans data from multiple sources using proprietary frameworks and methodologies.

Working Time Zone: CET, with at least 4 hours overlap with US East Coast time.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Take ownership of the system architecture, primarily backend in Go (~75%), with contributions to frontend in React (~25%).
2. Lead technical decisions and maintain high code quality across a team of 4 backend (Go) and 2 frontend (React/ReactNative) developers.
3. Mentor and manage developers through code reviews, planning, and support.
4. Contribute hands-on to building scalable microservices, APIs, and system components.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies.
6. Own delivery of backend features from design to deployment, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
7. Improve tooling, practices, and infrastructure to enhance team productivity and system scalability.

Candidate Expectations:

• Proven experience leading developer teams, including code reviews and mentoring.
• Ability to own system architecture and make high-level decisions.
• Experience guiding teams through all SDLC phases.
• Expertise in backend services, primarily in Golang.
• Experience developing web UI features using React and Typescript.
• Contributing to microservices supporting data loading, content analysis, search, personalization, and admin functions.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure, including ECS deployment.
• Experience with ETL processing tasks.
• Knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse.
• English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
